What functions can fine arts perform in the development of a settlement? Evidently, every formal and mental intervention can have a positive effect on its environment, analyses – even if only a visual one – is the expression of the situation. This document is the projection of the artist’s own attitude, of his inner filter, his view, his outlook, it is a way of drawing attention to something. All kind of such concentration to a certain thing attracts the attention of the community, such positive advertisment initiates actions. And actions, happenings give birth to interest-concentration.

The visual documentation of the holiday-resort may draw attention to its interest-points, their interpretation may bring forth a conception about the future. The theme of the camp is the survey of the formal and achitectural legacy of the decaying, monachic holiday-resor and the visual expression of this by the invited artists. Every objective and subjective visual approach to the holiday-resort may be an interesting challenge and expression. According to this every visual elaboration created here (photographs, film, documents, object, picture) would serve as a definition of this topic. The artists’ mental mobility in the given environment may be considered one of the tasks. The visual expression of these ideas is the oppinion, view of the artists working here during the encampment. The visual research completed here will be a cross-section of the passed time which can be exhibited.
